Terms & Conditions

By placing an order with Embellished Sweets, you agree to the following terms and conditions. These policies ensure a seamless experience and uphold the quality and craftsmanship of our custom cookie creations.

1. Ordering & Availability

  • All cookies are custom-made and require advance booking. We recommend placing orders as early as possible, as availability is limited.

  • Submitting an order form does not confirm your order. Orders are reviewed, and a confirmation will be provided upon acceptance.

  • We reserve the right to decline orders based on availability or design feasibility.

2. Payment & Deposits

  • A 50% non-refundable deposit is required to secure your order. Orders are not confirmed until the deposit has been received.

  • Orders must be confirmed within one week of receiving your order confirmation.

  • The remaining balance is due 5 days prior to pickup/delivery. If payment is not received, your order may be canceled.

  • Accepted payment methods: e-transfer and cash

3. Cancellations & Refunds

  • Due to the handcrafted nature of our cookies, all sales are final once confirmed.

  • Deposits are non-refundable. However, if an order needs to be rescheduled, we will do our best to accommodate based on availability.

  • In rare cases where we must cancel an order due to unforeseen circumstances, a full refund will be provided.

4. Design & Customization

  • Each cookie is meticulously handcrafted, and slight variations may occur. We strive for accuracy but cannot guarantee exact color matches due to natural variations in icing and lighting.

  • If a design change is requested after confirmation, additional fees may apply.

  • We do not replicate copyrighted or trademarked designs (e.g., cartoon characters, logos) unless proper authorization is provided.

5. Pickup & Delivery

  • Pickup is available. Exact pickup times will be scheduled upon order confirmation.

  • Delivery may be available within the GTA for an additional fee.

  • Clients are responsible for ensuring timely pickup. We are not liable for the condition of cookies once they leave our possession.

6. Allergies & Food Safety

  • Our cookies are made in a kitchen that processes common allergens, including wheat, dairy, eggs, and nuts. We cannot guarantee an allergen-free environment.

  • Cookies are best consumed within 1 week if kept air tight. Your cookies should be stored in a cool, dry place for optimal freshness. DO NOT refrigerate.

  • Cookies can be frozen for up to 6 months and thawed out at room temperature.

7. Photography & Marketing

  • We reserve the right to photograph and share images of our cookie designs for marketing and promotional purposes.

  • If you prefer your custom order to remain private (e.g., for surprise events), please notify us in advance.

8. Policy Updates

  • We reserve the right to update these terms and conditions at any time. Clients will be subject to the policies in place at the time of their order.
